Larger service station for Hunton Bridge?12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Sat 7th Apr 2007
A planning application is to be submitted in the next few days for a new, larger petrol filling station at Hunton Bridge. In order to carry out the work, Total UK Ltd has purchased a part of the land previously part of the civic amenity site. The new petrol station will have improved circulation around the site with a pass lane between the pump islands. The jetwash will be removed and the shop enlarged. There will be parking spaces for those using the shop who do not want fuel. The access from the A41 will remain the same, with the access onto Old Mill Road made safer.
