Popes Road junction finally repaired

12.00.00am GMT Wed 19th Dec 2007

After many months of pressure from your local LibDem team, the raised table at the junction of Gallows Hill Lane and Popes Road has finally been repaired. Drainage works were undertaken over six months ago and a temporary repair put in place.

Cllr Matthew Bedford (pictured left) said, "It is ridiculous that it has taken six months of constant reminders to get this done. The County Council had to make temporary repairs twice; they should have done a proper job in the first place. I will check to ensure that the new blocks don't start to sink."
