Cllr Chris Whately-Smith points out where the new roundabout is to be sited

Local LibDem councillors have asked what is happening regarding the building of the roundabout at the entrance to the new Hunton Bridge Wharf estate. The site manager has still not received confirmation of the S278 agreement to carry out the work.

Cllr Chris Whately-Smith has asked county council officers what the effect on the road will be whilst the work is carried out, but has had no response.

The roundabout was opposed by local councillors, who believe that it will cause further delays and disruption during the rush hour.
