The Liberal Democrat councillors to contest the Abbots Langley wards in this year's local elections have been announced. They are: Abbots Langley - Cllr David Major; Langleybury - Cllr Chris Whately-Smith; Leavesden - Sue Bartrick. There are no local elections in Bedmond & Primrose Hill this year. Local election agent Sara Bedford said, "We are delighted that David, Chris and Sue are defending their seats. All three are well-respected local residents, who have a strong record of working for our local communities. I hope that all three will be supported by the electorate, so that they can continue working for their wards". The local elections take place this year on Thursday 1st May. Nominations close on Friday 4th April.
